Insurance Cover Premium

State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has made mandatory for banks to obtain written confirmation from the customer before applying credit cover premium charges. Depending on your credit limit, cover premium is charged in every billing cycle. If the premium is being charged in your bill, please call help line to deactivate in order to refrain from the cost of PKR 300-1000 per month.



Late Payment Charges
Banks levy heavy penalties for paying your bill after the due date. Pay you bill on time to refrain from any late payment charges

Counter Charges
Always pay your bill through cheque for having proper record and to avoid any counter charges. Usually banks charge between PKR 200 to PKR 275/-

Cash through Card
Most expensive transaction through card is obtaining cash against your credit limit. Banks allow 75% of credit limit as cash limit.

Avoiding Disputed Transaction
Have you credit cards blocked from being used online to avoid any disputed transactions

Paying More than Minimum Due
You will not incur any Interest Expense if you pay full amount before billing cycle. Try to make
as maximum as possible in order to avoid Up to 36% prevailing Interest Rate Expense in Pakistan

Subscribing to E-Statements
E-Statement facility by nearly all banks in one good practice to obtaining your bill on time without missing out due dates.

Developing Chart for Payments
As every bank has different deadlines, prepare chart or reminders to your different bills and subscribe to 'Auto Debit Authority'  for standing instructions from your paycheck account.

Use Reward Points before it Expires
Keep proper track for your reward points and use them effectively before it expires. Rewards are earned through your shopping from your credit cards. Customers are usually given 1 point against spending of PKR 50/-
